Crimson Tide Showcase Grit in Second-Half Stand

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Top-ranked Alabama survived a second-half scare from Arkansas, ultimately securing a hard-fought 24-21 victory in an SEC clash on Saturday.

After building a 21-6 halftime lead, the Crimson Tide found themselves facing a resurgent Razorback squad that outscored them 15-3 in the second half. Arkansas capitalized on costly Alabama penalties and a series of big plays, including a 75-yard touchdown pass from KJ Jefferson to Jadon Haselwood that brought the home crowd to its feet.

Despite the Razorbacks' valiant effort, Alabama's defense held strong when it mattered most, forcing Arkansas to settle for a field goal late in the fourth quarter. With time running out, Alabama's offense managed to run out the clock, securing the victory and preserving their undefeated record.

Jalen Milroe led the Crimson Tide offense, completing 14 of 27 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 97 rushing yards on 21 carries, including a 13-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

The win extends Alabama's current winning streak to four games and keeps them atop the SEC West standings. It also marks another chapter in the storied rivalry between these two SEC programs.

As the Crimson Tide prepare for their next challenge, they will carry with them the lessons learned in this hard-fought victory. Alabama's ability to overcome adversity and showcase their championship pedigree will be crucial as they navigate the remainder of their challenging schedule.
